Knowing how to dance and knowing how to teach dance are two very different skills.

The CARE Dance Method Teacher Training Program is designed to help aspiring and developing dance teachers build the knowledge, practical skills and confidence they need to lead positive, engaging and effective dance classes.

Teachers learn how to plan and structure classes, break down skills, communicate clearly, manage a classroom, select age-appropriate material and adapt their teaching to support different learners. Just as importantly, they learn how to create an environment where students feel welcomed, encouraged and excited to participate.

The CARE approach goes beyond choreography and technique. We believe exceptional dance teachers understand how students learn, how they develop and how to bring out the best in every dancer.

Through education, practical application and mentorship, participants begin developing their own identity as educators while gaining tools they can use in the studio from day one.
